Riding Academy

Our teaching method focuses on building leadership through mutual trust, free of any form of force.

Riding is an art that is, in its essence, much more than a physical skill – it takes knowledge, persistence and the right attitude towards the animal. At our Academy, teaching is based on the principles of Natural Horsemanship. The skills children gain with us are closely tied to the psychology of the horse, understanding its language and building effective communication.

Summer seven-day children's camps with riding

Zdravets Horse Riding Centre is the perfect place for a full, restful holiday amid the authentic beauty of the Balkan Mountains. For a whole week, the little ones get the unique chance to spend time every day with their favourite horses, riding them and caring for them. With its qualified instructors, the centre offers riding lessons and horseback treks to landmarks and historic sites.

Imagine a day when school desks give way to green meadows and pure joy! At Zdravets Horse Riding Centre the little ones discover the magic of connecting with horses, play on the „Hora-dzhagi“ pitch, try archery and get close to centuries-old trees and to the history around the monastery. Their first ride brings a spark of pride and memories for a lifetime!

Come and celebrate together a different and unforgettable birthday for your child, held in nature with everyone’s favourite animals – the horses. We will ride and play fun outdoor games, and our entertainer will prepare an individual programme suited to the age and size of the group. Once all the children have arrived, the real fun begins as we meet and enjoy the ponies, which we will ride a little later.
